Rumichaca: test pit programme completed
Geological and geochemical study, test pit programme. Pits were hand-excavated at the Rumichaca property in the Huanuco Region of Peru across the sectors identified by earlier field work, and the programme was reported in May 2025.
Xstreco is recording the test pit programme completed at the Rumichaca property in the Huanuco Region of Peru and reported in May 2025. Pits were excavated by hand across the sectors identified by the 2024 field programme, and logged for lithology, weathering, visible mineralisation, geomorphological setting and grain size. The programme identified the principal gold-bearing horizon. Pits were taken to the water table, and the thickness of the horizon is to be established by later work covering the balance of the licensed area. The full report is held on file.
