Code of Conduct
The standards of behaviour we expect from directors, executives, employees and those acting on our behalf, covering integrity, conflicts of interest, confidentiality and compliance with applicable law.
Our Board holds itself to the same standard it sets for others
This Code reflects our commitment to lawful and ethical conduct and provides a clear framework for sound decisions across a global, regulated business.
It applies without exception to our employees, directors and officers and those of our subsidiaries, to contractors and consultants under our direct supervision, to joint ventures and affiliates where we have operational control, and to third parties acting on our behalf, regardless of role, location or seniority.
In brief
Applies to
Everyone acting for us, regardless of role, location or seniority
Local law
Where local law sets a higher standard than the Code, the higher standard applies
Our values
These five values are the foundation of our culture and the benchmark for how we expect people to conduct themselves, individually and collectively.
The five values
Integrity means acting lawfully, ethically and transparently. Responsibility means taking ownership of our impact on people, communities and the environment. Discipline means applying sound judgement and risk awareness.
Respect means treating colleagues, partners and stakeholders with fairness and dignity. Resilience means operating with foresight and a commitment to long term value.
Values in practice
These values are embedded in our governance, risk management and operational systems, and are reflected directly in our policies, including the Human Rights and Indigenous Rights Policy, the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy, and the Whistleblowing and Ethics Reporting Policy.
